The City of Yachats is pleased to announce the opening of its 2025-2026 Community Development Grant Program. This program provides operations and project funding to non-profit organizations. The grants are intended to support impactful projects that contribute to local community development within Yachats. Special consideration will be given to projects demonstrating measurable economic development outcomes.
Given the limited nature of these funds, applicants are encouraged to seek additional funding sources for larger projects. Consideration will also be given to projects facing unique fiscal challenges or those ineligible for traditional funding streams. While matching funds are encouraged, they are not a requirement for the application.
This cycle, a total of $50,000 is available, divided into two pools:
● Projects enhancing visitor promotion.
● General community projects and organizational support.
The maximum grant request per project is $15,000.
Applications must be submitted through the City's official website, www.yachatsoregon.org
A selection committee will evaluate and score applications, presenting recommendations to the City Council for final funding decisions. Following the review process, award recipients will be notified electronically. The review committee may recommend more or less funding than what was requested, depending on the volume of applicants received.
The application process will open on September 20, 2025 and close on October 20, 2025.
