Visitors staying in Yachats for one week or more can obtain a library card. Please contact the library if any of your contact information changes so that we may update our records.
Yachats Library participates in the Passport system, allowing library patrons in good standing to obtain library cards from other participating libraries, and vice versa.
Yachats library patrons may check out printed books and materials, audiobooks and DVDs for a period of 2 weeks. Items may be renewed for an additional 2 weeks, unless the item is on a reserve/waiting list for another patron.
Renewals & Returning
Please be considerate of other patrons and return items by their due date, or contact the library to renew. You may renew items over the phone or in person. All items checked out from the Yachats library must be returned to the Yachats library.
There are no fines for overdue items, but please consider adding a small donation to the jar by the check out desk.
