Housing Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan, and Proposed Code Updates

Yachats has completed a Housing Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan and is now transitioning to updating our city codes. We are modernizing our code to support a wider range of housing options, improve affordability, and ensure our growth reflects our community values.

The primary goal of this initiative is to encourage "gentle density", a strategy that fosters an inclusive community by allowing for more flexible use of residential lots without compromising the character of our neighborhoods.
